Clay Time! Made this ornament the other day of the Royal Tart Toter. He was so thin, I wish I’d made him a little thicker, but I gave him to a friend that had asked me ages ago to make him at some point. I should keep working on this paper though, and then hopefully at some point this week I’ll work on 1. a vlog I’ve been trying to do forever and 2. my All the Little People inspired piece. Whenever that happens :/.
:P teeny photoset of my unbaked peppermint butler. After seeing All the Little People the other night, all I was thinking was, damn, I have a lot of those teeny people, and hey, maybe I should start making more around the same size so I can have a bag of them at some point :). But yeah, future plan is probably make a Marceline in order to pose with the butler, then I’ll be able to bake and keep as a piece just like my Marcy/Simon piece.
So after watching the last episode of Adventure TIme, I Remember You, I decided to make this in honor of the tragically beautiful episode. It hit a little close to home, but it reminds me why I like these shows that don’t concentrate so much on being a kids show, and telling beautiful stories that anyone can understand. I don’t generally have so many feels, but I did on Monday, and I’d like to say it resulted in my best work yet. This is to you, Marcy and Simon.
OK. I’m really done this time guys. No more Adventure Time, I’ve got plans for different shows/books/universes to make things from. If you have any specific things you think I can make, just leave it in my ask, and I’ll consider. So yeah, this time the quadrupeds join in with Lady Rainacorn and TreeTrunks.
Finally made Ice King, but he looks terrible. I keep trying to figure it out what I did wrong, but yeah. I also decided to make this into a photoset to look at of each individual character I made. I think I’m moving on though from Adventure time, maybe starting some different characters for other stuff. Don’t know. Anyone in particular that anyone would like?
