Is it bad

that every time someone randomly chats with me on facebook in the middle of the night, when I haven’t spoken to them in over a year, I assume they’re intoxicated?

This post has nothing to do with Israel just so that I make myself clear, I really don’t feel like getting into an issue like that. I however fail to understand how anyone in their right mind can call out fellow christians and say they better find another religion based on a political manner (The person quoted here continued to say that the Obama administration doesn’t support Israel, which I personally find hard to believe). Look, I get it, you don’t like Obama. And yes, you really like Israel, to the extent that you believe its a religious requirement for you to support them. I still fail to understand how the hell you think its appropriate, or how righteous you must feel in your political convictions to make such a claim. How is this better than a member of Al-Queda convincing muslims that their cause is righteous, as much as they’re terrorists, they’re still a political force.  These are issues that people should make based on logic or reasoning, not because every damn thing in the world is made up of good guys and bad guys and God is always on your side. I don’t understand how people can be so ignorant of their actions. I don’t understand people who claim to be members of faith, yet casually cast others out as “Not real <insert religion here>” because of something like this. Who are you to be the judge? Last time I checked you weren’t Jesus, actually I thought being judgmental was precisely Anti-Jesus like, but what would I know.

Arguments about “Its Free, So Don’t Complain”

Today Facebook changed their Layout. Big fucking whoop. I really don’t care what Facebook does to the site, unless they choose to shut it down, or somehow send me more e-mails than they do (They sent me an E-mail yesterday that they’re scaling down the emails though WHOOPEE!) But I constantly see people go like, “Why is everyone bitchin about Facebook, if you don’t like it, leave and write your own code. I mean, its *free*” I hate people who say that Free is a justification, especially in something like an internet service, because you and I both know that Facebook isn’t Mike Zuckerbergs altruistic gift to society that he wants to do just so people can socialize. Although it may not seem to be this way, All Facebook users are customers.

We give in our time(the currency in which we pay with) in order to use this service, some of us jumped the boat out of Myspace (For good reason) in order to build up a profile, and customize so many things about it. our time creates content, an the more content we create, the more Facebook profits off of ads. If we were to not produce content, we would essentially not be giving Facebook money, and when this company decides to do things that’ll make a substantial part of their user base annoyed enough, It’ll effect them financially, which is why they do care about us, and our complaints. Just as much as Starbucks cares about how annoyed we get when their drinks become 20 cents more expensive, or the government raises our sales tax by 1 % . For the most part, these changes may have negative views, but nothing is substantial enough for people to stop using services, thats part of the companies job when they implement changes, to see how much it’ll disrupt customers.

But customers are always the ones holding the upper hand, and people who say “its free so we shouldn’t complain” belong in a communist economic system, because the internet is Capitalism at its finest, your only barrier to entry is really an internet connection, and everyone seems to have plenty of income in Time since we all have similar amounts of it, we just choose to spend it differently. So If someone wants to bitch, let them bitch. I honestly don’t think the overhaul is that bad, but damn, I’m not going to tell anyone that they should just suck it up because the Great Zuck has commanded so and there is no bargaining with him.
